Find reading dive tables cumbersome? Here's an easier way to plan your dive. With your Blackberry smartphone you now have access to the PADI recreational dive planner. Simply select the starting pressure group, depth of dive, duration of the dive, and the length of your surface interval and DivePlanner will do the rest. DivePlanner will tell you if your dive requires a safety stop, it will tell you the maximum time for a certain depth for multiple dives, it will compute RNT, ABT, and TBT for you. Importantly, it will tell you if your dive profile will result in a decompression dive ("DECO").
