Rosarito / Tijuana Getaway
Plaza Del Mar is a community of condo's along the side of the "scenic toll road" along the ocean.
Last March of 2005, a good friend of mine wanted to go to Mexico. I told him that Joy and I have been there recently and that if my friend Loie and his family would go, we'll gladly go with them. We knew someone who owns a condo near Rosarito and she said that she'll let us use it for $85 per night. The condo is a two bedroom, with one full bathroom and a kitchen. Hot and cold water is available, plus a refrigerator too. There is a balcony that overlooks the ocean, and the compound is gated with a security guard 25 hours a day. At $85 per night, this was a better deal than the Hotel, since we get the fridge, microwave and a gas range for our house.
