Joys younger sister in the Philippines was getting married. So Joy, Paige and myself took a vacation to attend the wedding ceremony. It was a long flight from Los Angeles to Cebu City. The plane refueled in Seoul, Korea, then stopped at Hong Kong before finally arriving in Cebu City.
My bestfriend Fred along with Joys family met us at the airport. As usual Cebu City was too humid for me. Paige was not familiar with all the new faces, the humid weather, and the distinct smell in Cebu. For Joy and myself the next couple of weeks will be to relax and spend with friends
and family. I met Jason and Onyot, the two young men who has always been with me when i go about Cebu City. I called some of my old schoolmates telling them that i'm in town. Joys mom, sister and the housekeepers were very much fond with Paige.

We stayed at Waterfront, Lahug before and after the wedding. This place was great, they had Corona beers for sale. Take note that it is almost impossible to buy imported beers from small stores in Cebu. You have to go to a big department store like SM Cebu, or Ayala Cebu,
in order to buy imported beer. Even the task of buying Bud Light was an impossible task. Nevertheless, Philippines offers their own pride and joy, San Miguel beer and San Mig Light are amongst the finest beer I have ever tasted. Majority of the times we just drink Red Horse beer.

The wedding was held at Archbishops Palace and the reception was at GrandCon. Mr. Mario King and Mr. Edmond Sanchez were one of the principal sponsors. If you don't know them, then you haven't been in Cebu long enough. This was the very first time i ever wore a barong tagalog too.
I met my old classmate Noel Quijano in the reception. It was a lot of fun, Paige certainly enjoyed running around the room picking up the confettis that fell on the floor.
