On April 25 of 2005, Joy and I went back to the Philippines. Joy has not gone back for about 5 years, and as far as I can remember, I haven't been back to the country of my birth in about 8 years. Needless to say, we were both very excited. Our vacation started on April 25 up to May 22 of 2005. We took Cathay Pacific from LAX to Hong Kong, then from Hong Kong to Cebu.

Another place where Joy and I really wanted to go was General Santos City ---- South Cotabato. Joy and I took a 45 minutes flight from Mactan International Airport to General Santos City. Sure, we've heard of rampant bombings in that area, and insurgent activities in that island, but we were not scared.
My cousin Paul runs a scuba diving resort off at Sarangani Bay. Pauls parents, maintains the diving resort. They have two guest houses all ready for accomodation, and their resort can accommodate up to 15 divers at a time. Pauls typical dive would be, one dive in the morning. Then lunch is served, rest. And another dive in the afternoon.
