When it was time to go, I kinda felt sad.  I wanted to stay longer, but as all vacation comes to an end, so does ours.  However, we are definitely coming back next year.  Most of the pictures here were taken during our dispedida party na.

Party at K1 KTV

This was the biggest group we had over at K1.  My old friends were there, and my classmates were there too.  Red Horse beer was still preferred, however, I ordered two bottles of Jose Cuervo tequilla where it did not even last very long!

Mathias bbq, Old Banilad Road

This place is really good.  You eat out in the open, but you pick the food and they will bar-b-que it for you.  The price is very affordable, and the servings are pretty decent.  I highly recommend this place if you like bbq.

Nang Florita (best cook in the world), and Mommy Q.

These guys watches Janjan and I when we go out at night.

They may look small, but they are very loyal, and they

will fight to protect personnel or property.

They are the tough guys in Paknaan, go there and ask

for their names, surely, people knows them.

We also rented a Jetski here and I let the boylets drive it. Nang Florita got upset na gi pa drive nako sila, kay mo samot kuno ang hambog nila. hehehe.

I wasn't able to take pictures because Onyot was driving the Wave Runner like a maniac and I really didn't want to have any accident with the Wave Runner this time.

Special thanks for Onyot, Francis, Dimpol and Dodots

Lunch provided by Twinkle and Glen, Banilad Crossroads

Payag-Payag

When I got settled in Paknaan, I noticed that the weather in Cebu was just too hot and humid for me.  Since I've always wanted a Nipa Hut ("Payag") built into our backyard in the States, I wanted to see how it felt to actually use one.  Our first option was buying a finished one.  There was a lot available, but expensive --- around P25,000 - P30,000 depending on size, plus delivery pa jud.

My brother-in-law suggested to have one built for a fraction of the price.  I agreed, we had one built in about 5 days. Total cost of labor and materials was less than P15,000.  The hut was built by Noy Pedro, the handyman and carpenter who has helped the Quijano residence since time began.

I have video of the actual building, i will post it in the website soon.

It is very cool at night under the Nipa hut.  Little girl is Lara.

We had our dinner here the night before we left.  Dimpol sitting on the propane tanks.
