On January 15, 2005, I surprised Joy and took her to Rosarito, Mexico.  We stayed at Rosarito Beach Hotel for 3 days.

One night in Tijuana (with Roberto and Rossy)

My friend Roberto met us in Mexico and took us out for the night.  We went to an upscale bar in TJ.  When we arrived, the club was empty.  But, after 11pm, it became packed!  We could hardly move around.  People were drinking and dancing.  For the first time in Joy's life, she took a WHOLE SHOT of Tequila!  Nevertheless, let's just say, I don't want to talk about what happened later that night :-)

What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico.  Thanks Roberto, we had a good time!

"Let's dance, mi amor..."

"Peace and don't get drunk Steve!"

What a party!

The Town of Rosarito Beach

Joy and I enjoys going through the sidewalk vendors in Mexico.  In here, like our home town, Cebu City in the Philippines, the price of the stuff they sell are, somewhat, 'negotiable.'  Joy enjoys bargaining with the local townsfolk, and feels great to walk away feeling that you got a good deal.  Just what do they sell?  How about Rolex watches for $35, or Tag Huer watches for $20?  Try Oakley sunglasses for $15.  So what exactly did Joy buy?  Look at me carrying this big jug in Mexico (and this was not light too)!

It's hard to walk the un-even sidewalks of Mexico, so we walked on the road along with traffic.
