Rosarito Beach, Mexico, R & R
18-Aug-2007
Before the children starts to go to school, and before Michelle starts her new job,
before Chuck starts working full time and before his family comes back to the US,
we made plans to go to Mexico and have a little Rest & Relaxation.
The Canalita's left Los Angeles on Friday afternoon and stayed in San Diego Friday
night while the Partridges were going to drive very early Saturday morning, and
meet up with us at a Denny's right before the Mexican border at 8:00am.
With proper coordination, the Partridges were at Denny's at exactly 8am. We arrived
there around 8:30am, just right after they finished their breakfast. We purchased
Mexican insurance, filled up our vehicles with gas, and proceeded to drive to Mexico.
Driving to the border was quick and easy, Joy and I have driven here before, this
was the first time for the Partridge family to drive into Mexico.
On Sunday we went to Puerto Nuevo, it's a town that's about 15 minutes after Rosarito.
I can only say one thing about Puerto Nuevo: L O B S T E R S! (Pictures coming soon)

We stayed at the Festival Plaza Hotel. It was pretty decent, and pretty affordable.
It was not the greatest hotel that we've ever stayed with, but for the price, i guess
it was worth it. Two rooms, 2 beds each would suffice us good. To my surprise, the
rooms DOES NOT have air conditioning. However, the hotel was within walking distance
to the beach, and the windows were extra large to let the cold air in.

Inside the hotel room, the kids still had
a lot of fun. Many thanks to L'a who really
knows how to entertain and take care of
children. Roberto from my work joined us
for dinner, and later we went to Tijuana
to go to a night club.
The rest of the night we hang out at a
bar right next to our hotel. There were
lots of people there. There was dancing,
drinking and eating everywhere.
