Crabfest at the Pier

Today is my birthday. I got a few text messages greeting me for this special day,
Ella Sanchez from Cebu never misses an occasion, thanks Aya! See you very soon.
My cousin called early in the morning and inquired if we were ready to go, I told
him that we'll be ready by 9am. He said they'll be at the house around 9a'sh.

We were going to take just one car. We loaded the car with the baby stuff, and
Chuck and family arrived. Chuck and I stayed outside, while Myra and Stacey went
inside the house. We waited and waited for them to come out. Finally, Joy came
out and asked, "are we ready to go?". We were shocked! "We've been waiting for
you guys to come out. What's taking you so long?"

At Redondo Beach Pier we ate CRABS! Yes, big Dungeness Crabs! There must have been
some miscommunication between Joy and the sales lady because we ordered 3 crabs, and
we got 4! Needless to say, Chuck and I had crabs coming out of our ears that noon.
After lunch, all of them had ice cream, I didn't have any. We spent another hour
Just walking around the pier before starting to head back home.

Today baby Paige also turned 4 months, so we started feeding her solid foods and
water. She seems to enjoy the rice cereal and did not spit out the water. Looks
like we won't have a problem with her eating at all.

While waiting for the Partridges, baby Paige was busy playing at the keyboard. Hmmm,
seems like she also likes to play with computers. I guess seeing Daddy at the keyboard
all the time makes her curious as to what those little keys do. hehehe.

BEAT THE HEAT!
With temperatures in Santa Clarita hitting
107~109 degrees, over the weekend, we do
what we always do, POOL TIME! Any time
we hit triple digits here, I crank out
the pool speakers for music, enjoy the
pool all day. Water temp is at a
cool 85 degrees, wow!

At my friend Loie's pool, we were
swimming till midnight.
